1 ¾ cups Plum butter (unsweetened)
2 tsps cocoa powder
1 pinch salt
1 ½ Tbsps Gingerbread spice
1.6666 cups Spelt flour
½ Tbsp baking soda
½ tsp Baking powder

Preparation steps

preheated oven at 190 °C/ 375°F (180°C/ 350°F convection). In a large bowl, Whisk maple syrup, oat milk and plum butter. Whisk in cocoa powder, salt and gingerbread spice.

Sift flour with baking soda and baking powder. Fold into the wet ingredients and work into a smooth batte.

Put the batter on a baking tray lined with parchment paper, smooth it down and arrange walnuts into three rows of fourteen. Bake the gingerbread in the oven for about 20 minutes or untill a toothpick comes out clean.

Allow cake to cool completely. Remove from parchment paper and cut cake into square pieces, having the walnut in the center of the square. Store leftovers in an air tight container.
