Preparation steps

1.

Soften the butter to room temperature, then beat until cream in a bowl. Peel the garlic. Pass the garlic through a press or finely dice. Mix the garlic into the butter, and season to taste with salt.

Place the butter on plastic wrap. Form into a roll, wrap with the plastic wrap, and chill for at least 2 hours in the refrigerator. Cut the butter into slices to serve.
