For the salad
1 large head Radicchio
3 Tbsps apple cider vinegar
1 tsp honey
1 tsp Mustard
5 Tbsps olive oil
salt

For the pepper steak
4 200g (approximately 7 ounces) Steak fillet (Á 200 g)
19 tsps pitted black Olives
2 tsps white peppercorns
4 allspice
2 Tbsps Corn oil
salt
1 garlic clove

Preparation steps

For the salad: Tear the radicchio into bite-size pieces, rinse and spin dry in a salad spinner. In a bowl, whisk together the vinegar, honey, mustard, salt and pepper. Gradually whisk in the oil.

For the pepper steak: Crush the peppercorns and allspice with a mortar and pestle. Sprinkle the pepper mixture on a board and turn the steaks in it, pressing firmly to adhere. Peel and quarter the garlic. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and saute until golden brown, remove. Place the steaks in the hot pan and sear, about 1 minute per side. Reduce the heat and cook 2 to 4 minutes per side to desired degree of doneness. Sprinkle the steaks with salt, remove from the pan and tent with aluminum foil to keep warm if not serving right away.

Add the radicchio to the bowl of dressing and toss to coat.  Arrange the salad on rustic boards or large plates and place the steak on top. Serve immediately.
