8 slices Serrano ham

Preparation steps

1.

Rinse the figs and halve lengthwise. Place cut side up on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Sprinkle with the sugar, then brown for 4-5 minutes under the preheated broiler. 

2.

Remove the figs from the oven, then transfer to a plate. Drizzle the figs with the olive oil and vinegar, then season to taste with pepper. Cut the serrano ham into strips. Arrange the serrano ham on the plate with the figs and serve.
