- 2 handfuls Elderflower
- 1 untreated lemon
- 500 grams sugar
Preparation

Shake (do not rinse) the elderflower. Rinse the lemon in hot water and cut into slices. Slowly boil the sugar with 1 liter (approximately 4 cups) of water. Simmer, stirring constantly, for about 10 minutes.

Allow the syrup to cool. Add the elderflower and lemon slices. Cover and let sit for about 2 days.

Pour the syrup through a cloth sieve into a pot. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Pour into a prepared bottle and close tightly.

To make juice, mix the syrup with cold water (about 1:6 syrup to water ratio). Serve cold.
