- 6 slices Toast
- 100 grams cooked ham
- 100 grams Sliced cheese (i.e emmentaler, gouda)
- ¼ Cucumber
- butter
- 3 Tbsps freshly chopped parsley
- 3 Tbsps roasted, chopped almonds
- 3 Tbsps sweet ground paprika
- milk
Preparation steps
1.
Cut the crust off the bread and cut in half. Cut the ham and cheese into wide strips, the same width as the bread. Peel the cucumber and cut lengthwise into very thin strips. Cut to the length of the bread.

Butter the bread slightly. Distribute ham, cheese, and cucumbers as desired. Roll with the fillings on the inside and secure with a toothpick.
3.
Transfer the parsley, almonds and peppers paprika to plates. Brus the rolls lightly with milk and coat in parsley, almonds, or paprika. Press lightly in the toppings.
To serve, place on plates, making sure toothpick is secured.
