Ginger convinces with lots of gingerols and shogaols. These pungents stimulate the blood circulation and push our defenses. Thus, cold viruses can be fought faster.

If the sweetness from the pear juice is sufficient, simply omit the raw cane sugar. You can replace the non-alcoholic rosé wine with light grape juice as desired.

Preparation steps

1.

Wash the cranberries. Place in a saucepan with the sugar and 3 ounces of pear juice and bring to a boil. Simmer over low heat for about 5-10 minutes until the berries are soft, stirring occasionally.

2.

In the meantime, peel and slice the ginger, wash the lemongrass and knock 2 stalks slightly soft with a meat tenderizer; set aside the rest for the garnish. Add squeezed lemongrass to cranberries in pot with remaining pear juice, ginger, vanilla powder, wine and cinnamon sticks.

3.

Warm cranberry punch with pear and ginger over medium heat and infuse for 10-15 minutes. Pour through a sieve into glasses and garnish with lemongrass.
