Preparation
Kitchen utensils
1 Baking sheet, 1 Bowl, 1 Cutting board, 1 Large knife, 1 Tablespoon, 1 Peeler, 1 Slotted spatula, 1 Small bowl
Preparation steps
1.
Roughly chop the chocolate and melt over a bain-marie, stirring frequently, then set aside. Put the butter and brown sugar into a bowl and cream with an electric mixer until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs and stir in the melted chocolate. Preheat the oven to 200°C/400°F with top and bottom heat. Mix the flour with the baking powder, a pinch of salt and the vanilla. Stir the almonds into the brownie batter with the flour. Grease a baking pan. Turn the batter into the pan and bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, until a wooden cocktail stick inserted into the middle comes out clean. Turn out onto a rack and let cool completely. Dust with confectioners' sugar and cut into pieces to serve.
