- 7 ozs Dark chocolate (70% cocoa solids, chopped)
- ¾ cup butter
- ⅜ cup water
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1.333 cups light brown sugar
- ½ cup cocoa powder
- 1 cup roughly chopped Macadamia Nuts
- ½ cup mixed Dried Fruit (raisins, sultanas, candied peel, cherries)
- 3 eggs (lightly beaten)
Preparation steps

Heat the oven to 180°C (160° fan) 350°F gas 4. Grease a 23cm|9" square baking tin and line the base with non-stick baking paper.

Melt the chocolate, butter and water in a pan over a low heat, stirring constantly.

Mix together the flour, cinnamon, sugar, cocoa, macadamia nuts and fruit in a mixing bowl. Add the chocolate mixture and eggs and mix well.
4.
Pour into the tin and bake for about 35 minutes until cooked through. Cool in the tin for 20 minutes, then cut into slices and place on a wire rack to cool completely.
