- For the cookies
- 200 grams cold butter
- 50 grams white sugar
- 100 grams brown sugar
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 pinch ground cloves
- 1 pinch ground Cardamom
- 160 grams Pastry flour (1050 type)
- ½ tsp baking soda
- 50 grams ground Walnut
- 50 ground Hazelnuts
- milk (as needed)
- For the garnish
- 3 Tbsps chopped Walnut
- 3 Tbsps finely chopped Dark chocolate (minimum 60% cocoa)
- chili peppers (ground in a mortar)

Preparation steps
1.
Preheat the oven to 160°C (approximately 325°F) convection.

Beat the butter with the sugar, salt and spices until fluffy with an electric hand mixer. Mix the flour, baking soda, ground walnuts and hazelnuts, and mix into the butter mixture. If the dough is too dry, knead in a little milk.
3.
Drop the dough by tablespoons onto a parchment paper-lined baking sheet, flatten and bake in the oven for about 12 minutes. After baking, top with chopped walnuts, chopped chocolate and sprinkle with ground some chile pepper.
