- 1 chicken (about 1.4 kg, oven ready)
- salt
- peppers (freshly ground)
- 1 Tbsp ground paprika (sweet)
- 2 onions (thinly sliced)
- Bell pepper (cut into strips)
- 3 garlic cloves
- 3 Tbsps vegetable oil
- 250 milliliters dry sherry
- 125 milliliters Chicken broth

Preparation steps
1.
Cut chicken into 6-8 pieces, season with salt and pepper.
2.
Heat oil in a pan and brown chicken pieces. Add onions,peppers, and chopped garlic. Sauté for a little bit.
3.
Add sherry and broth to a pan, cook for 12 minutes. Cover the pan and simmer for another 12 minutes. Remove from heat, season with salt and pepper.
4.
Arrange chicken pieces and vegetables on plate. Pour sauce around them. Serve with bread.
