- 2 onions
- 1 starchy potato (about 150 grams)
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 Tbsps red bell pepper relish
- 1 tsp sweet ground paprika
- 125 milliliters dry white wine
- 800 milliliters fish stock
- 2 thyme
- 2 Bell pepper (Red and yellow)
- 2 Tomatoes
- 4 Carp (ready to cook, à 200 g)
- 2 Tbsps lemon juice
- salt
- ground paprika (hot)

Preparation steps

Peel onions and chop. Peel potato and dice finely. Heat butter in a saucepan and saute onions and potato for about 1-2 minutes. Peel garlic and squeeze through a garlic press. Add to the pan. Add ajvar and paprika and mix well, add wine and fish stock, bring to a boil. Add thyme and simmer for about 15 minutes on low heat. Rinse and halve bell peppers, remove seeds and ribs, chop. Rinse and dice tomatoes. Rinse fish, pat dry and sprinkle with lemon juice. Add peppers, tomatoes and fish to the soup and simmer for about 10 minutes on low heat. Season with salt and pepper. Pour into bowls and serve.
