6 sheets white gelatin
1 pint
3 ounces cane sugar
¼ cup condensed milk (7.5% fat)
2 tablespoons soluble Espresso powder
In addition: Ice cubes

1 Pot, 1 Bowl, 2 Small bowls, 1 Measuring cups, 1 Tablespoon, 1 Wooden spoon, 1 Hand mixer, 4 Glasses

Preparation steps

Soften the gelatin for 10 minutes in cold water.

Bring milk and sugar to a boil in a saucepan. Remove from heat and stir until the sugar has dissolved.

Pour the condensed milk and add gelatin into the hot milk mixture and dissolve by stirring it.

Remove 1/3 of the milk mixture, mix in the espresso powder and set aside.

Fill a large bowl about halfway with cold water and ice cubes. Add the remaining milk mixture into another smaller bowl and place in the ice water. Mix with a hand mixer, until the liquid is frothy and cooled.

Pour the cream into glasses and place in the refrigerator.

Beat the espresso milk mixture in the same manner, over an ice water bath, until a frothy cream. Layer in the glasses over the cream and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
