4 light green Cabbage
150 grams cooked Rice
1 small red Bell pepper
Beans (canned, 2 tablespoons)
Corn (canned, 2 tablespoons)
2 tablespoons lemon juice
salt
peppers (freshly ground)
4 teaspoons Tomato paste
1 tablespoon chopped parsley

Preparation steps

Cook cabbage leaves in boiling salted water for about 2 minutes. Rinse with cold water and drain. If necessary, flatten stalks slightly. Rinse pepper, halve and remove seeds and ribs. Cut into small cubes.

Combine rice with pepper, corn and beans. Place cabbage leaves on flat surface, fill with rice mixture, drizzle wtih lemon juice and seson with salt and pepper.  Fold leaves from opposite sides and make rolls. Place stuffed cabagge rolls onto steamer. Boil about 2 cm (approximately 1 inch) of water, put steamer in place and cook for about 10 minutes.

Mix tomato paste with 2 tablespoons of water, bring to a boil and stir in parsley. Season with salt and pepper.

Arrange cabbage rolls on plates, top with tomato sauce and serve.
