Preparation steps

1.

Rinse trout and pat dry with kitchen towel. Drizzle inside and out with lemon juice, salt, and pepper.

Grease a baking sheet with 1 tablespoon butter and place the trout on it. Slide under a preheated broiler in the oven and cook about 10–12 minutes per side until golden brown. Toast the almonds in remaining butter and garnish the trout with them before serving. Serve with lemon wedges.
