- 2 large onions (chopped)
- 16 ozs cooking Apple (peeled, cored and chopped)
- 1 clove garlic cloves (crushed)
- ½ tsp grated Nutmeg
- 3 Tbsps dark brown sugar
- salt

- 3 Tbsps Red wine vinegar
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- ⅛ cup butter

1 Cutting board, 1 Large knife, 1 Small bowl, 1 thermal tea pot, 1 Measuring cups, 1 Kitchen scale, 1 große Mixing bowl, 1 Tablespoon, 1 Teaspoon, 1 Hand mixer, 1 Sieve, 3 kleine Plates, 1 Baking sheet, 1 Parchment paper
Preparation steps
1.
Heat the oven to 150°C (130° fan) 300°F gas 2. Grease a baking dish.
2.
Layer the cabbage, onions and apples, in the dish, sprinkling each layer with the garlic, nutmeg and sugar. Add a sprinkling of salt and pepper.
3.
Mix the wine vinegar with the lemon juice and pour over the contents of the dish. Dot with the butter and cover tightly.
4.
Cook for 2-2 1/2 hours, until the cabbage is tender, stirring once during the cooking time.
