- 600 grams Beef fillet (ready to cook)
- 2 centimeters fresh ginger
- 1 garlic clove
- soy sauce
- soybean oil
- Rice wine
- salt
- 1 generous pinch Sambal oelek
- 300 grams carrots
- 300 grams Snow peas
- 150 milliliters Vegetable broth
- 2 Tbsps white Sesame seeds (toasted)
- 1 tsp honey
Preparation steps

Rinse the meat, pat dry, trim and cut into thin strips. Peel and finely chop the ginger and garlic. Mix with 3 tablespoons soy sauce, 4 tablespoons oil and 2 tablespoons rice wine, season with salt and sambal oelek and let marinate for 30 minutes.

Meanwhile, peel the carrots and cut into sticks. Rinse, trim and cut the snow peas into strips. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a wok. Remove the meat from the marinade and stir fry in batches.Remove and set aside. Add the vegetables to the wok and stir fry, rotating the pan occasionally. Pour in the broth and simmer about 4 minutes over medium heat. Return the meat to the wok and season with the marinade. Sprinkle with sesame seeds, add the honey, toss well and serve immediately.
