- 750 grams Beef brisket
- 400 grams starchy potatoes
- 4 carrots
- 1 Kohlrabi
- 2 onions
- 1 Parsnip
- ½ Celery root
- 1 stalk Leeks
- grained Broth (or bouillon cubes)
- 2 Tbsps chopped parsley
- salt
- freshly ground peppers

Preparation steps
1.
Rinse the meat, place in a saucepan, cover with water, bring to a boil, reduce the heat and simmer approximately 2 hours.
2.
Peel and dice the potatoes, celery root and onions. Peel the carrots, kohlrabi and parsnip and cut into slices or sticks. Rinse the leek, trim the ends and cut into rings.
3.
After 2 hours, add the vegetables except the leeks to the meat and cook 30 more minutes. Add the leeks and cook 15 more minutes.
4.
Generously season the stew with granulated broth (or bouillon cubes), salt and pepper. Finally, remove the meat, cut into bite-sized cubes and return to the pan.
5.
Serve sprinkled with parsley.
