- 250 grams Basmati rice
- salt
- 1 generous pinch ground saffron
- 1 tsp cloves
- 1 tsp Cardamom
- 1 tsp fennel seeds
- 1 tsp Coriander
- 2 Tbsps sliced almonds (roasted without fat)

Preparation steps
1.
Rinse the rice in a sieve under running water, then boil with twice the amount of lightly salted water, the saffron and spices. Reduce to a simmer, cover and cook over low heat until tender and the liquid has been absorbed, 15-20 minutes.

Mix the toasted almonds into the rice, fluff with a fork and serve.
