⅔ cup Dark chocolate (broken into pieces)
1 Tbsp butter
3 Tbsps Golden syrup
2 Tbsps double cream
4 Banana
Vanilla ice cream (to serve)
4 Tbsps chopped Walnut
How healthy are the main ingredients?

Preparation steps

1.
Melt the chocolate and butter in a bowl set over a pan of simmering water, stirring gently from time to time. Take care that the bottom of the bowl does not touch the water.
2.
Remove the bowl from the heat and stir in the golden syrup and cream.
3.
To serve, slice each banana in half lengthways and place on serving plates. Top with ice cream, pour over the sauce and scatter with the chopped walnuts.
