- 600 grams fresh, ripe Strawberries
- 2 Tbsps Balsamic glaze
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 2 tsps pickled green peppercorns (from a jar)
- 150 grams cured ham (thinly sliced)
- Basil (for garnish)
- 80 grams Parmesan (piece, for shaving)
Preparation steps

Pick through the strawberries, rinse, trim, and cut crosswise into discs. Mix the balsamic cream with the lemon juice and 1 teaspoon of the brine from the peppercorns. Spoon the mixture over the strawberries, let stand 1 hour and arrange on plates.

Loosely pile the ham slices onto the strawberries. Drain the peppercorns and sprinkle over the strawberries. Serve garnished with basil leaves and freshly shaved Parmesan.
