4 medium Figs (cut in half)
1 Tbsp honey
1 tsp cinnamon
¼ lemon (zest in two large strips)
1 Tbsp sliced almonds
2 bay leaves

Preparation steps

1.
Preheat oven to 450º F.

Place the halved figs in a baking dish skin side down.
3.
Drizzle with honey and sprinkle cinnamon evenly over the figs. Place lemon zest, almonds and bay leaves over the figs and bake in the oven for 15 minutes, just to warm the figs and honey.
4.
Remove from the oven and serve warm.
