1 fresh Orange (juiced and zested)
2 Tbsps softened butter
2 centiliters Rum
2 Tbsps honey
80 grams Walnut
4 Apple

Preparation steps

Combine orange juice with zest, 1 tablespoon of butter, rum and honey. Bring to a boil. Chop nuts coarsely, add to orange juice mixture and remove from heat.

Preheat the oven to 180 ° C upper and lower heat.

Rinse apples, cut off lids and core with an apple corer. Remove some pulp, being careful not to break skin. Cut apple pulp into small pieces and combine with nuts. Stuff apples with the mixture.  Place apples into a buttered baking dish, replace lids and dot with butter. Bake in preheated oven at 180°C (approximatley 350°F) for about 30 minutes or until golden brown.
