- 100 grams Marzipan
- 2 centiliters Orange liqueur
- 1 generous pinch Orange peel (fresh)
- 100 grams Red currant jelly
- 3 Tbsps ground Hazelnuts

Preparation steps

Butter baking pan.

Rinse apples and core with an apple corer from the bottoms. Cut out star-shaped openings around the stems and hollow apples. Close bottom holes of apples with marzipan and place apples into a baking pan.

Combine remaining marzipan with orange liqueur and zest, crush finely with a fork. Combine with jelly and hazelnuts, stuff apples with the mixture. Dot with pieces of butter and bake in preheated oven at 180°C (approximately 350°F) for about 30 minutes. Serve.
