- 2 ½ lbs white or green Asparagus
- 2 Tbsps Pine nuts
- 3 ozs Wild garlic leaf
- ½ bunch parsley
- 1 oz freshly grated Parmesan
- 3 ozs olive oil
- salt
- freshly ground pepper
- lemon juice

Preparation steps
1.
Rinse, pat dry, peel and trim the ends of the asparagus. In a pot with a steamer, cover and steam about 20 minutes. Remove when tender but still slightly crunchy.

Meanwhile, roast pine nuts in a dry pan until golden yellow. Rinse garlic and parsley. Shake dry parsley and coarsely chop.
3.
Blend garlic with parsley, pine nuts, cheese and oil in a blender until forming a smooth paste. Season pesto with salt, pepper and lemon juice.
4.
Drizzle asparagus with pesto and serve.
