- 4 duck legs
- salt
- peppers
- 2 ½ ozs runny honey
- 2 tsps grated, fresh ginger
- ⅛ cup soy sauce
- ½ tsp Chinese 5 spice powder
- 1 clove garlic cloves (crushed)
- 1 Tbsp sesame oil
- To serve
- cooked Kale
- 1 Tbsp Sesame seeds

Preparation steps
1.
Score the skins of the duck breasts with a sharp knife, season well with salt and pepper and set aside.
2.
Place the remaining ingredients into a food processor or blender and blend until combined.
3.
Place the duck breasts in a bowl and pour over the spice mixture. Cover and leave to stand for at least 1 hour.
4.
Heat the grill.
5.
Place the duck breasts on the grill, skin-side down and cook for about 7 minutes on each side, until cooked to your liking, continuously basting or brushing the breasts with the honey mixture as they cook.
6.
Put the kale on a serving plate and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
7.
Cut the duck breasts into slices and arrange on top of the kale.
