- 230 grams Pastry flour
- ½ tsp Baking powder
- 50 grams chopped almonds
- 1 organic lemon (zest and juice)
- 100 grams softened butter
- 100 grams sugar
- 1 egg
- 30 grams slivered almonds
Preparation

Mix together flour, baking powder, almonds and lemon zest. In another bowl whip together softened butter, sugar, lemon juice and egg.

Combine wet and dry ingredients into a smooth dough, divide into 20 pieces and shape into balls. Transfer to a parchment-lined baking sheet, flatten the cookies slightly, sprinkle with almonds and bake in a preheated 190°C (approximately 375°F) oven for 12 minutes.
