Yeast (21 grams) (approximately 2/3 ounce)
100 milliliters
lukewarm Water
½ teaspoon

½ teaspoon

Walnuts (or pumpkin seeds)

Pastry flour (for dusting)

Preparation steps

1.

Dissolve the crumbled yeast and sugar in the water.

Combine the flour, salt, baking powder and yogurt in a bowl, add the dissolved yeast and knead with the dough hook attachment until smooth. Cover and let rise in a warm place for about 60 minutes.

Chop the walnuts coarsely and knead into the dough. Divide the dough into 6 portions, shape into oblong rolls and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Cover and let rise for 30 minutes.

4.

Brush the buns with salted water and bake in a preheated oven (175°C) (approximately 350°F) for 30-35 minutes. Let cool on a wire rack.
