Walnut-White Wine Liqueur
Remove the peels from the walnuts, and toast in a dry pan until fragrant.
Add to a jar with the cinnamon stick and the cloves. Fill with the double grain alcohol. Let infuse for 4 weeks in a cool, dark place.
Strain the mixture. Bring the white wine and sugar to a boil until the sugar has completely dissolved. Remove from the heat, let cool, then add to the nut mixture. Fill into prepared, clean bottles.
Infuse for an additional week in a cool, dark place before using.
