Preparation

Rinse and quarter the apples. Remove the seeds and thinly slice. Place in a bowl and drizzle with the lemon juice.

Rinse, trim, and thinly slice the celery. Add the celery and the walnuts to the apples and mix thoroughly.

Mix the mayonnaise with the sour cream, then season with salt and pepper. Arrange the salad on 4 plates, and top with the sauce. Garnish with chili powder, if you'd like, and serve immediately.
