50 milliliters milk
1 tablespoon honey
60 grams breadcrumbs
60 grams butter
120 grams Pastry flour
1 sugar
vegetable oil (for the waffle iron)
powdered sugar (for dusting)

Preparation steps

1.

Separate the eggs. Mix the egg yolks, milk and honey and mix with the breadcrumbs. Let stand until the liquid is absorbed. Melt the butter, pour into the mixture and stir in the flour.

Beat the egg whites with the sugar until stiff and fold into the batter.

Heat the waffle iron and coat with oil. Cook the waffles, in batches, until golden brown. Cool on a wire rack and serve dusted with powdered sugar. Serve with prepared chocolate sauce, if desired.
