Preparation steps

Bring 125 ml (approximately 1/2 cup) of water and sugar to a boil in a pot, until the sugar has dissolved. Soak the gelatin in lukewarm water. Mix the cornstarch with a little cold water until smooth, stir into the sugar water and continue to simmer.

For the red candies, mix the rose water and cherry juice. For the yellow candies, stir together the orange flower water and orange juice. For the green, combine the mint syrup (or liqueur) and mint tea. Remove the syrup from the heat. Drain the gelatin and stir into the syrup until completely melted. Line 3 flat molds (about 10 x 15 cm) (approximately 4 x 6 inches) with parchment paper. Divide the gelatin evenly among the flavored mixtures and stir together until combined. Pour the 3 gelatin mixtures into the 3 prepared molds and allow to cool completely. Remove from the molds and cut the jelly into cubes. Roll the candies in powdered sugar and serve.
