Heat the oil in a saute pan. When hot, brown the pieces of meat. Add the pineapple. Season.
Dust with curry powder and add the coconut milk. Add the star anise. Lower heat to minimum, cover and cook gently for 20 minutes.
Add the zest and peas to the pan and continue cooking for 10 minutes. Serve piping hot, with basmati rice.
