Rinse and halve the tomatoes, then remove the core and chop. Rinse and finely dice the lemons. Add the tomatoes, lemon, sugar, and vinegar to a saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat to low, and simmer for 45 minutes stirring occasionally. Fill the prepared jars with the jam. Seal tightly and turn upside down to cool slightly. Turn right side up, and cool completely.
