Preparation steps

1.

Beat the eggs, egg yolks and 200 grams (approximately 1 cup) of sugar until fluffy with an electric hand mixer. Stir​ in the mascarpone. Whip half of the cream until stiff and fold into the mascarpone mixture.

Mix the coffee, 1 tablespoon amaretto and remaining sugar in a bowl. Soak the ladyfingers in it and place the cookies next to each other in the bottom of a rectangular baking dish.

Spread about 1/3 of the mascarpone cream over the cookies. Repeat the process again ending with mascarpone.

Chill for at least 1 hour, then sprinkle with cocoa and cut into portions.

Melt the chopped chocolate in the remaining cream over low heat in a small saucepan. Stir in the amaretto. To serve, arrange the pieces of tiramisu on plates and drizzle with the sauce.
