Sweet potato (peeled and sliced)
1 tablespoon
2 teaspoons
ground cinnamon
½ cup
butter (melted)
4 cups

Preparation steps

1.
Preheat the oven to 190°C (170° fan) 375°F gas 5. Grease a baking dish.
2.
Arrange the sweet potato slices in the baking dish. Sprinkle with the sugar and cinnamon.
3.
Pour over about half the melted butter. Cover and bake for 30 minutes.
4.
Pour over the remaining butter, cover and continue cooking for 20-30 minutes until the sweet potatoes are tender.
5.
Arrange the marshmallows on top and return to the oven for 5-8 minutes until the marshmallows are lightly browned and starting to melt.
