Tart with Apricots
Crush marzipan with a fork, combine with apricot liqueur. Whisk butter with sugar until light and fluffy. Gradually add eggs into the mixture. Combine baking powder with ground almonds, flour and marzipan, add to the mixture and mix lightly. Add milk and spread batter in a buttered tart pan, smooth.
Rinse and dry apricots, halve and pit. Arrange apricots on the batter and press lightly. Bake in preheated oven at 180°C (approximately 350°F) for about 40 minutes or until golden brown (inserted toothpick should come out clean).
Remove from the oven and cool lightly. Dust with powdered sugar and serve.
