Swiss Funnel Cake
Beat eggs, cream, sugar and salt in a bowl. Stir in flour and butter and knead into a smooth dough until it blisters. Add more flour, if needed. Cover dough and let rest for about 20 minutes.
Take a walnut-sized portion of dough and roll into a thin log. Let rest on a kitchen towel and repeat with remaining dough. Heat fat in a pan to about 170°C (approximately 340°F). Cook dough in batches for about 2-3 minutes, until golden on both sides. Remove and drain on paper towels. Let cool, dust with powdered sugar and serve.
