1 pinch salt
1 Tbsp sugar
½ tsp Vanilla
6 ozs low fat Sour cream
½ cup milk
5 ½ Tbsps soft butter

Preparation steps

Sift the flour, baking powder, and approximately 2 1/2 ounces of sugar onto a work surface. Mix in the salt, vanilla, sugar, sour cream, milk, and butter until smooth. If needed, add more flour or milk. Wrap in plastic wrap and leave in the refrigerator for about 1 hour.

Preheat the oven to 350°F.

Knead the dough well on a floured work surface and divide into 12-15 pieces. Shape the dough pieces into round balls, roll them in sugar and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake for about 20 minutes until golden brown.

Remove from the oven and baking sheet, let cool on a wire rack and serve.
