- ½ Vanilla bean
- 1 lb Strawberries
- 3 Tbsps Apple syrup (from apple juice concentrate)
- 5 ozs well-chilled Yogurt (low-fat)
- 5 ozs well-chilled Yogurt (3.5% fat)
- Ice cubes

Preparation steps

Juice lemon. Cut the vanilla bean lengthwise and scrape out the seeds. Set aside.

Rinse strawberries in a bowl of cool water. Lift out, drain on paper towels and pat dry. Core and chop.

In a high-sided container such as a pitcher, combine berries, apple juice concentrate, vanilla bean seeds, lemon juice and yogurts. Puree until smooth with an immersion blender.

Fill glasses with ice, pour in strawberry smoothie and stir. If you prefer a thinner consistency, stir in a little water. Serve immediately.
