Strawberry Jelly with Lavender
Rinse the strawberries, trim, cut into small pieces and puree in a blender. Tie the sprigs of lavender with kitchen string. Mix the strawberry puree with the lavender in a large saucepan, stir in the sugar and let stand for 30 minutes.
Boil the jelly and cook for about 4 minutes until bubbly, stirring constantly until thickened. Remove from the heat and remove the lavender. Pour into jars rinsed with hot water, seal tightly and allow to cool.
