Strawberry Cream Meringue Dessert
Drizzle the kirsch over the strawberries. Sprinkle 2 tbsp sugar over and let marinate for 10 minutes.
Stir the remaining sugar into the whipping cream and crumble the meringues roughly. Purée the strawberries in the blender.
To serve: place a scoop of vanilla ice cream and some meringue crumbs in tall dessert or wine glasses. Add a small spoon of cream, then half of the strawberries. Add the remaining meringue crumbs and strawberries. Top with the remaining cream and garnish each glass with a mint sprig.
