Steak with Onions on Bread
Peel the onions and cut into wedges. Heat the butter in a frying pan. Stir in the onions and the sugar and leave for about 10 minutes. Caramelize over low heat.
Cook the beef steaks in a dry broiler pan on each side for about 5-6 minutes. Roast. Then season with salt and pepper vigorously. Arrange the steaks on ciabatta bread, add the butter flakes and cover with the caramelized onions. Serve immediately.
