Boil the lemon juice with the orange juice, rum, honey, star anise, cinnamon and 3-4 tablespoons of water. Simmer for about 5 minutes on low heat.

Cut the apricots into small cubes. Rinse the grapes cut each in half. Add the apricots and grapes to the spiced syrup. Remove from the heat and let cool slightly.

Peel the banana and cut into slices. Chop the hazelnuts finely and add the chopped nuts and banana to the syrup mixture. Let sit for about 10 minutes before serving. If desired, remove the spices before serving and transfer the fruit salad to a decorative serving dish.
