Ingredients

Preparation steps

1.

For the burgers: Heat 1 tablespoon of the clarified butter in a skillet. Stir in the spelt and carrot. Add the broth and allow to simmer over low heat for 10 minutes. Stir in the cheese. Remove from heat and allow to cool.

Stir the parsley and egg into the spelt mixture. Shape into 4 patties. Heat the butter in a skillet. Add the patties and cook until golden brown on both sides.

For the garnishes: Rinse the tomatoes and cucumber, and cut into slices.

Peel the onion and cut into rings.

5.

Rinse and pat the lettuce leaves dry.

6.

For serving: Halve the rolls. Spread the mayonnaise on the bottom half. Top with the lettuce, cucumber and tomato. Place a patty on top. Add the onion rings and ketchup. Top with the remaining bun half.
