1 ⅔ cups sweetened condensed milk (from a tin)
1 Tbsp butter
3 Tbsps cocoa powder
For rolling
Shredded coconut
chocolate sprinkle
cocoa powder

Preparation steps

Heat the condensed milk in a saucepan. Add the butter and cocoa and stir in well. Bring to the boil and simmer gently, stirring continually, for 8-10 minutes. As soon as the mixture sticks to the spoon and comes away from the base of the pan, transfer to a bowl and allow to cool slightly.

As soon as the mixture is cool enough to handle, shape by hand into small balls (grease your hands with a little butter to prevent the mixture sticking). Roll in coconut, chocolate strands or cocoa. Place in the refrigerator to cool and set.
