Preparation steps

For the strawberry sauce, rinse the strawberries.

For the cam, bring the milk to a boil in a pot. Beat the egg whites until stiff. Sprinkle in sugar and continue beating. Cut out tablespoon-sized cam and add them to the boiling milk. Cook about 1 minute while turning gently. Place the dumplings in a sieve and drain. Repeat until the egg white is used.

For the sauce, scrape the vanilla pod and heat with milk. Stir the egg yolks and sugar until fluffy. Stir in the cornstarch. Gradually add hot milk, stirring continuously. Pour the entire mixture back into the pot and bring to a boil while stirring. Remove from the heat and portion into soup plates.
