200 grams sugar
1 packet Vanilla sugar
125 grams butter
500 grams Semolina flour
1 packet Baking powder

125 grams sugar

Preparation steps

Beat butter with yogurt, eggs, sugar, and vanilla sugar until smooth. Mix semolina with baking powder and stir into the mixture. Line the bottom of a 25 x 25 cm (approximately 10 x 10 inches) pan with parchment paper and grease the edges. Transfer the batter into the pan and smooth out the batter. Bake in a 175°C (approximately 350°F) for 45 minutes.

For the topping, stir sugar, water, and lemon juice in a saucepan. Boil for 2 minutes and pour over the cake while it is still hot.

To serve: Cut into small cubes or triangles and sprinkle with grated coconut.
