½ cup sugar
2 eggs
cup white chocolate (for cooking)
1.333 cups cream (whipped)
1 Tbsp cocoa powder
cup Dark chocolate (for cooking)
2 Tbsps chopped Nut (e. g. almonds)

Preparation steps

1.
Place the sugar in a pot with 100 ml water and simmer for around 10 min, stirring occasionally. Set aside and leave to cool.
2.
Beat the eggs in a bain-marie until creamy. Add the white chocolate and allow to melt. Transfer to a cold bain-marie and keep stirring until cool. Fold in the cream.
3.
Transfer 2/3 of the mixture into four glasses (freezer-safe). Stir the cocoa powder into the remaining mixture and place on top of the light cream in the glasses. Freeze for at least four hours.
4.
Remove the semifreddo from the freezer around 10 min before serving.
5.
Melt the dark chocolate in a bain-marie and pour over the ice cream. Serve garnished with nuts.
