Sea Buckthorn Juice
Sea buckthorns can help slow the decline of thinking skills with age, reduce illness due to cancer, limit the toxicity of chemotherapy, and balance the immune system.
You can use honey or maple syrup to sweeten this instead of sugar.
Pick over fruit, rinse and combine with 1½ liters (approximately 6 1/3 cups) water in a large saucepan. Over low heat, bring slowly to a boil, then remove from heat.
Puree or crush fruit and strain through a sieve into another pot. Add sugar and bring to a boil briefly.
Pour hot juice into clean bottles with seal tops. Seal immediately. Let cool and serve juice garnished with sea buckthorn berries.
